Highgate Health
The story behind Highgate Health
Highgate Health was born in mid-2019, following our return to Sydney after spending three years in Perth. We had relocated to seek specialised medical care for our daughter. During this time, we realised that Belinda could no longer work in a full-time role, so we made the decision to establish Highgate Health.
Our first clinic opened at the Good Price Pharmacy in McGraths Hill, where we primarily treated primary healthcare patients. It was during this period that we performed a few iron infusions and quickly recognised a gap in the market.
Then COVID-19 struck, and we adapted by providing telehealth services to the surrounding communities. After the pandemic, we relocated our clinic to City Cave in Rouse Hill, where we expanded our services to include a broader range of infusions such as wellness, osteoporosis, and intralipids. However, we operated out of just one room at City Cave, which led to the decision to open a dedicated, standalone clinic in Bella Vista in January 2023.
Today, Highgate Health specialises in infusion services, LGBTQIA+ healthcare, weight loss treatments, and NDIS services.
People often ask why we chose the name "Highgate Health." Before moving to Australia, James lived in Highgate, North London. We felt that the name reflected the high-quality care we strive to provide in our medical clinic
